GSL Solar Rooftop

Global Shipping & Logistics (GSL) is a part of Al Shirawi Group of companies. AMANA. Solar installed over 14,000 photovoltaic (PV) panels on the rooftop of GSL Warehouse based in Dubai Industrial City (DIC), spanning around 46,000 of total area in square-meters and covered more than 28,000 square-meters for the solar installation.

The solar solution provided by AMANA. Solar allows GSL to pursue its commitment to sustainability and now covers over 90% of GSL’s electricity requirements. With a capacity of 6.1 MWp, the PV panels will generate over 9,800 MWh of renewable energy annually allowing an estimated reduction of 7,000 tons of CO2 per Annum for GSL, which is equivalent of planting over 114,500 trees.
