Tristar Logistics Warehouse

Located in the sustainable development of Masdar city, AMANA was awarded the Build of a new leasable by end-user development project, accommodating light industrial operations.

The project consisted of the construction of two identical warehouses comprising of a total of 28 numbers of shell and core units with associated offices, totalling 29,500m² in leasable areas.

Each unit is separated by demountable hollow core precast panels and each unit has enough power provision for installation of an HVAC system if required along with proper ventilation and smoke management system. All works were carried out in compliance with high sustainability requirements of Estidama Pearl 3.

The warehouse buildings structural elements are mainly pre-engineered building steel frames resting on piled foundations. The office building, substation, and waste collection Room structural elements are on cast-in-situ concrete system with block wall masonry.

Due to the height of both warehouses (11m) and the weak substrata conditions, the foundations were laid on deep bored piles complemented with dynamic compaction under the slab on grade.

The project consisted of  warehouse 1 & 2 buildings, ground and first floor offices, groud floor warehouse, substation, guard house and waste collection room.
